This Privacy Policy explains how Abbaad Technologies (Pvt) Ltd (“Abbaad”, “we”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use the Platform. We aim to meet the expectations of Pakistan’s data-protection framework and, for international users, GDPR-style principles.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, role, and profile details you provide.
- Listing & activity data: properties, searches, favourites, leads and messages.
- Sensitive data: CNIC (only where required for verification) — encrypted at rest with AES-256.
- AI conversations: PropertyGPT / advisor messages, used to answer you and improve the service (anonymised for training — see below).
- Technical data: device, IP, and usage analytics (only after you consent — see our Cookie Policy).
How we use your data
- To operate the marketplace: show listings, connect you with agents, and process payments.
- To personalise recommendations and improve AI features.
- To send transactional notifications and, with consent, marketing.
- To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with law.
AI training data
We may use interactions to improve our models. Before any such use, data is PII-sanitised — phone numbers, emails and CNICs are stripped. We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing
We share data with: agents/developers you contact; service providers (hosting, payments, email/SMS, analytics) under contract; and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
International transfers
Our infrastructure (databases, storage, AI) may process data outside Pakistan. We use providers with appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@abbaad.pk.
Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/HSTS) and at rest for sensitive fields, access controls, audit logging and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Children
The Platform is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
